CHARACTER DESIGN
Place holder title
These are character design sketches for a fantasy novel that I am currently working on.
Umbra, the Dark Elemental. He escaped the attack that led to his friends' capture, and seeks to save them.
Sedgewick, a Water mage. He knows minimal fighting techniques, and is far more effective as a healer. He left his home and family under request of the king, and found his paths waylaid.
Forest Golems are usually not aggressive. In the course of the story, however, they grow affected by the awakening powers and seek blood.
Corwyn, the prince of one of the kingdoms. He prepares to fight against the rising powers along with the Elemental Dragons.
Doric the black jaguar, and his Mice friends Pura and Imi. They all use the Dark Element. Doric uses it in as varied a manner as he can, but the Mice tend to stick to illusions.
Placeholder Title
These are character concepts for a graphic novel my younger brother and I are collaborating on. It involves different isolated cities that have thematic elements from different time periods.
Geraldine, a Fennec Fox flapper girl. She is exuberant and refined, and enjoys dancing at Belle's Squeakeasy.
Character Design Challenge
Perhaps one of these months I shall be brave enough to actually enter a design.
Ninja Cat.

These are designs for a fantasy children's book.
Hazel, one of the primary characters. She represents the force of courage, leading and guiding the others through frightening situations and hard times.
Rowan, one of the primary characters. He represents wisdom in the story, advising the others and giving information in regard to their surroundings and situations.
Reflections
These are character designs for a fantasy novel I am writing. It makes use of several different mythologies, sort of joined together.
Aatto's wolf form.
Aatto's cat form.
Aatto's owl form.
Aatto's stag form.
Venka, Baba Yaga's familar.
Shattered Light
These are character concepts for a fantasy novel I am working on. I am unsure as of now whether it would be better done as a graphic novel or a heavily illustrated novel.
Boots, a shape-shifting kitten. And his frog.
Boots' beast form.
Filch Bandersnatch, Boots' sort of brother. They are brothers in spirit, at least. Filch often has sad quiet moments in amongst his rather melodramatic attention grabbing ones.
