SKETCHBOOK
I live near Estes Park in Colorado, so every so often we drive up the old Fall River Road to the high point. The fall colours were nice, so I did a half hour environment sketch.
This is an environment sketch for nothing in particular. I thought it would be interesting to try something monochromatic, so I gave myself half an hour to do something simple.
This was a sketch for 'Dinovember'. My friend thought it would be fun to continue with daily drawings after Inktober, so I joined in on a few as I could.
This was an Inktober drawing for the theme of 'cruel'. The prompt made me think of the mythology of Pan, and the children lost to the Netherland. Done in traditional media.
This is an Inktober drawing for the prompt 'poisonous'. As poison is a different thing than venom, I went to the mythology of old Faeries, and chose to base it off of nightshades. Done in traditional media.
